Sports Watch Supply Celebrates Grand Opening
www.SportsWatchSupply.com officially opens its doors and offers a select catalog of watches, pedometers, and heart rate monitors for people with an active lifestyle.
Scottsdale, AZ (PRWEB) August 7, 2008 — New store www.SportsWatchSupply.com celebrates its official grand opening, welcoming customers with a variety of sports watches, pedometers, heart rate monitors, and related items.
“I chose to sell sports watches for a couple of reasons,” explains store owner Michael Flynn, an IT professional who has implemented numerous web sites for others and decided it was time to operate his own. “One is that I am a sports enthusiast, and the other is that I like watches that do more than just tell time. There are hundreds of watch brands and types that I could sell, but I wanted to focus on sports watches because it’s what I know.”
The site itself carries an impressive array of timepieces and related items, all organized carefully according to Michael’s exacting standards. As a triathlete and outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hunting and skiing, he takes great care to select watches that are appropriate for a given activity or event. “I essentially have watches broken down for athletes,” he says. “I have major categories like athletic watches for running, swimming, cycling, and specialty watches that calculate speed and distance. I have watches that are pedometers for people who are into walking for fitness, and I have all kinds of watches for outdoor enthusiasts. Whether you’re into scuba diving or hiking or skiing or surfing, there are watches that are specifically for those kinds of sports. I also have stopwatches and timing systems, as well. I even sell electronic scoreboards.”
Michael has also implemented a blog at www.SportWatchesBlog.com to keep in touch with his customers, communicating with them directly and allowing them access to information they would not otherwise have. He says, “The blog will be informational on how sports watches can be used in different activities to enhance and improve performance. I hope to enlighten people searching for a good watch on what to look for, and I am planning on posting often and being able to interact with customers on how to appropriately use a watch in their activity.” He invites customers to share their thoughts on his blog, as well as ask any questions they may have about his products or industry.
