Forest Heritage Center to Host Wood Turners Art Exhibit September 12 – October 19
The annual fall wood art exhibit at the Forest Heritage Center http://www.beaversbend.com/events.html in Beavers Bend Park will be open September 12 – October 19, 2008. This year’s gallery is exceptional. The exhibit will feature a woodturning competition among some of the region’s most talented artists. http://www.beaversbend.com/events.html#masters
The gallery will be opened to the public with a special reception on Sunday, September 14 at 1:00 p.m. During this time, many of the artists will be on hand sharing their turning techniques and tricks of the trade. This is an excellent opportunity for the public to gain first-hand knowledge about woodturning from some of the region’s most talented wood turners.
