Time Management System Helps Ease Kids Back Into School Routines
Kids can start the school year right with daily routines to make school days easier with organization and less stress.
Cupertino, CA (PRWEB) August 24, 2008 — After a summer filled with relaxed schedules and carefree days, children can transition into structured routines as the school year begins with the help of a new timing system, On?Task On?Time for Kids.
Moschel Kadokura, CEO of Timely Matters, Inc, developed the On?Task On?Time for Kids system (http://www.timelymatters.com) after struggling with her own children to get ready for school on time. “Getting my kids ready for school was an hour-long struggle filled with constant nagging and yelling,” she remembered.
Supported by research which displayed the benefits of using consistent routines, Kadokura created On?Task On?Time for Kids to ease children through difficult daily transition periods, like getting ready for school or preparing for bed, while eliminating stress and power struggles. Developed for ages 5-12, On?Task On?Time for Kids works with children to teach time management, good daily habits, and foster self-esteem and independence.
On?Task On?Time for Kids lets children visualize tasks with colorful illustrated stickers placed on a daily routine disk which rotates to display tasks in timed intervals. 52 different task stickers allow parents and kids to create custom routines-like those most appropriate for the school day-with stickers like; make lunch, organize backpack, and do homework.
Parenting expert Terese Bradshaw, a Montessori teacher of 25 years and San Francisco based Positive Discipline Coach (http://www.positiveparentingcoach.com) recommends On Task On Time to her clients. “On?Task On?Time for Kids helps my clients put into practice exactly what I am teaching in my Positive Parenting classes. It helps children manage routines on their own, and reduces stress on parents in the morning and evening.” Bradshaw offered. “Parents can stop nagging and let On?Task On?Time be their guide.”
Kadokura encourages parents to use consistency, structure and reward along with On?Task On?Time, while implementing routines early for the best start to a successful school year.
Moschel Kadokura is available for interview by contacting (408) 446-4242, or via email at mk @ timelymatters.com. On Task On Time can be viewed in full demonstration on the Timely Matters website at: http://www.timelymatters.com.
