Australia’s Snazzy Baby Company Snaps Up USA ‘Outstanding’ Product Award

Snazzy Baby’s My Baby’s Own Deluxe Travel Chair has been awarded the USA’s iParenting Media Award for ”Outstanding Product in Gear and Equipment for 2008”.

(PRWEB) August 28, 2008 — Snazzy Baby’s My Baby’s Own Deluxe Travel Chair has been awarded the USA’s iParenting Media Award for ”Outstanding Product in Gear and Equipment for 2008”.

Announced this month, the travel chair’s unique safety features made it stand in a class of its own.

One of its absolutely stand-out features, which appealed to the judges, is its ability to be used in shopping carts to keep the baby in a safe position while Mom is shopping.

CEO of Snazzy Baby, Cyndy Mundy said in the US alone, there are 24,000 admissions to Emergency Departments from shopping cart injuries annually, according to the American Academy of Paediatrics.

Other major features of the My Baby’s Own Deluxe Travel Chair include its non-slip base, which grips onto all firm surfaces; its four-point restraint and buckle fasteners, which secure and hold a baby safely; and its ability to attach to all chair types, including outdoor furniture.

“The travel chair is incredibly portable and can be easily carried on mum’s shoulder or in her diaper bag giving ready access to a portable high chair restraint for her baby,” said Cyndy Mundy.

iParenting is a US-based media company focusing on providing information for parents. Established in 1996, it judges thousands of products each year and is recognised internationally for its interest in child safety and good design.

Snazzy Baby is an Australian-based company which also won an iParenting award in 2006 for its knee pads, which provide a safe and effective product which helps babies and children to learn to crawl properly and enhance their motor skills development.
